Gil Alcantar

Gil Alcantar, leader of WINDSTREAM brings together a group of educated and seasoned Southern Calif. musicians to form one of the most musical and versatile Jazz bands. With a diverse instrumentation and talent, WINDSTREAM produces a varied dimension in live music, specializing in Jazz from Be-Bop to Contemporary, Soft Jazz, Latin, Ethnic Jazz and more. The disciplined musicians can be found performing jazz clubs throughout Southern California, WINDSTREAM also performs at local concerts, benefits, and private corporate engagements.

WINDSTREAM has been picked up by Narnack Records of New York City, NY, for a production and release of a new jazz CD. WINDSTREAM has three CD’s currently out, “Jazzing it, “the Live Session” and “Jazz Standards”.
